Realism painting, skepticism and criticism
Being fascinated by nature is behind a realist artist. What could be more beautiful than nature!
Nature is so magnificent than capturing it in one painting is impossible.
Realism is the true and the original visionary of creating the Universe.
Through realism the creation has stood firm and will remain strong forever. What more we can to add to its exquisiteness!
Neither should we subtract so much that art viewers have to figure out what the artist meant!
Realism is not all about copying what is there. But, passionately, express what we see, feel and focus on an idea in a new composition and subject.
Each realistic painting captures only the essence of a certain subject, as prominent, and features its reality along with its beauty.
Painting realistically requires thinking ability and sensibility. A realist artist can be painting from many photographs to compose one new subject.
Knowledge of perspective, proportions, the applicable lights and shadows on the new proportions and new perspective are definitely needed.
Painting realistically is not accidence as to simply apply some colors here and there; blending them with whatever tool comes in handy and done for sale!
Why abstractors, simplifiers and others can’t cooperate with nature and accept realism? And why have they announced resistance to realism and escaping reality with its attractiveness?
Can lack of deep emotion, technique, ability, patience, passion and appreciation for the creation are behind it!
It calls the attention that realism style has been latelty, criticized and attacked by only the artists whose
limitations of vision and scarcity of technique do not allow them to express it.
Unquestionably, adopting the realism style is hard work and difficult commitment to make.
Presenting nature in a simple and young painting is avoidance of the actual splendor of nature with its complexity.
It is also an expression of our new era that is falling apart with its values and standers.
There is a great deal of lack of patience as we live in a speedy time.
This resulted in lack of human communications and no time given from anyone to anyone.
“Sorry, I have no time to hear you now, here is my answering machine, please leave a brief message and I will get back to you whenever I can”.
Of course, conditions of our present time, we live in, are affecting not only the style of our artwork and arts in general but also the whole being.
In my opinion, if all artists will keep on escaping realism style, our civilization, culture and history will disappear as our societies standers and values have been.
