Back to "Born
talented or taught to be an artist"

I have been a student of Mona Youssef's since August 1999. My lessons have
been on a weekly basis, 2 hours each week.
I did not have any experience in drawing or art appreciation at that time, but
Mona was certainly up to the task. Under her expert guidance, my progress has
been phenomenal and all my expectations have more that met. I now feel ready
to accept new challenges.
Mona instilled in me a feeling of confidence from the very beginning; she also
keeps me focussed and positive. She is a truly gifted, devoted and
conscientious teacher and I feel very fortunate to be one of her students.
My art lessons with her have also benefited me in other areas-I feel more
confident in attempting new venues; decision-making and problem-solving now
seem to be a little lese difficult.
I feel privileged to have Mona Youssef as my teacher, friend and mentor.
Very sincerely
Ada Forest
