Looking at Pink Lake is an Oil painting on 100% pure linen/Canvas, size: 16†x 20†or size 41cm x 51cm. capturing a place was taken from Pink Lake in Gatineau, Quebec. I have taken the shot but elaborated it to come up with a new composition, capturing the deep green bluish water and from distance people who love to walk around the lake during this season to enjoy viewing the change of colors of the three and the peaceful atmosphere there.
The linen/canvas is well treated professionally, some months prior to painting and one year after the work was done. The painting was done in many fine layers, with no glazing in between, using the well known and most expensive Sable brushes and I have used the sizes as small as 18 zeros. The brushes made from the finest quality of horse tail. By working with many layers and tones using high quality pigments colors purchased from Italy, France, England and Germany, I add the richness and the natural depth that gives the classic look. This technique insures the longevity of the painting for hundreds of years as vibrant as can be which means that colors will not turn yellowish with time. It was complimented by the art jury in Italy and was exhibited in Canada 2003 and in Italy, 2005.
