Oil painting on 100% pure linen/Canvas. Dimension: 36cm x 71cm capturing the Sunset touching the snow and ice showing all the tone of Lilac, blues, and red when the sunset touches the waving snow in such time of the winter. Although, it is a cold time of the year, yet, when the sun light, touches the ground tenderly, reflects all those vivid colors, it gives enough warm and serene feelings in the viewer’s heart and mind to forget the cold weather and feel warm and have a serene state of mind. My motive was that wherever we face in life, there is always the other side of the coin and this can be very beautiful to find, perceive and enjoy. It was exhibited in International art exhibition” World of Art” Berlin in Culture and Art Center Urania, 2010.

The linen/canvas is well treated professionally some months prior to painting and one year after the work is done. The painting is done in many fine layers, with no glazing in between, using Sable brushes the most expensive brushes in the market and as small as 18 zeros, made from the finest brushes of horse tail. By working with many layers and tones using high quality pigments colors purchased from Italy, England and Germany, I add the richness and the natural depth that gives the classic look. This technique insures the longevity of the painting for hundreds of years as vibrant as can be which means that colors will not turn to yellowish with time.
