Patty Rodgers is a multi-talented artist and painter who creates visual art captivating viewers to the beauty of simplicity. In her minimalist oil paintings, she adds delicate light on objects, interiors and landscape with a delicate geometric forms and shapes dancing between chaos and order to combines complex yet, simple connected features. Patty is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a B.F.A. in painting, obtained a B.A. in Art from Simmons University, and received an Art teaching Certificate in grades K through 12 from Central CT State University. Patty taught art in public schools for about ten years in CT and IL. Followed by teaching private art lessons at an artist’s co-op in Illinois, and guitar lessons at Denton County Guitar Studio. Patty is a member of Visual Arts Society of Texas, and of Visual Art League of Lewisville, where she exhibits her work in group shows. Her most recent exhibitions in 2024 and  back to 2021 were at VAST and VAL in Frisco, Art Fair in Dallas, Art Spectrum Miami and on-line collections at Saatchiart.com. Patty has been exhibiting in galleries, in various art centers and in art fairs in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and Illinois since 1981. Patty received an Award given by the well-known artist, Will Barnett. Her art is found in private collections all across the United states and in seven different countries.
